Agnes Huot holds an A.B. in Classics from Harvard/Radcliffe College and an M.S. in Regulatory Affairs from Northeastern University. With over 20 years’ experience within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, she has held leadership IT/informatics positions in the Boston area, with companies such as CombinatoRx, Cereon Genomics, Genome Therapeutics, Transkaryotic Therapies and BioTechnica International.  She has led teams responsible for all IS/IT aspects of these companies' scientific and business programs, including the strategic computational systems that supported genome sequencing and commercially marketed genomic databases, high-throughput screening, bioinformatics & computational biology.

Ms. Huot joined Merck in April 2004 for the start-up of the MRL-Boston research site . She is responsible for the MRL-Boston site as well as GlycoFi in New Hampshire, and carries global responsibilities within Merck's MRL IT organization.
